Event Description
The Fox Lake/Volo Business Family Expo will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2010. This annual event is a great opportunity to shop for business vendor information, purchase items at our homebased business and craft booths, stop in and enjoy lunch with our local business restaurants and enjoy the entertainment.
Be sure to be on-hand at noon to watch our community notables pair off with some of our Grant high school students for a 3-PT contest in the small gym. "Donning" gym shoes for the day will be: Mayor of Fox Lake, Ed Bender; Fire Chief, Ron Hoehne; Police Chief, Mike Behan and Grant High School Principal, Pat Bentancur. Stepping forward for the women’s team will be: Village of Fox Lake Parks and Rec Supervisor, Nancy Rogers; Grant Township Supervisor, Kay Starostovic; Grant Township Assessor, Jeri Barr; Grant Township Highway Dept. Supervisor, Kim Keisgen and Pastor Kim McCormick from The Edge Church.
This is a fun-filled day for the family. Mark your calendars ... this year it is the second Saturday of March. Keep the day open - and join us at the Expo.
